Source: standing underneath what looks like a woven blanket. This is, in fact, known as a chuppah, which is a four-columned canopy used to cover the kallah and chatan to create a sanctified space. and Both are covered by a tallit, which serves as a huppa (wedding canopy)

Article is neutral, meets the required length, and is sufficiently referenced—created on 11 January, the day before this nomination. Hooks are succinct, neutral, and reliably sourced; they're not especially catchy, but I think you've picked the best you could. Image is suitably licensed and fits incredibly well alongside the hook. It does NOT portray the artist's daughter[edit]

As per the Dutch Wiki-page, and well-sourced to Marjan van Heteren, Guido Jansen, Ronald de Leeuw: Poëzie der werkelijkheid; Nederlandse schilders van de negentiende eeuw. Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Waanders Uitgevers, 2000, blz. 168-169: "Israels himself indicated in 1909 that he did not paint a specific couple, but random people.", the original quote in Dutch: "Israëls zelf heeft in 1909 echter aangegeven dat hij geen specifiek echtpaar heeft geschilderd, maar willekeurige personen." 82.176.221.176 (talk) 06:38, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
